Black · 6 cylinder · 148,376 miles i am selling my 1991 jeep yj. This is a basic jeep with a 4. 0 liter, fuel injected engine. It does not leak any fluids, nor does it burn any oil. It has an automatic tranny. The previous owner painted the jeep, so the paint is fresh, and in good condition. I will say that the paint job isn't the best because of the over-spray in some areas, and the prep was not done correctly. But what they painted, they painted well. It is what i call a "50 footer", which means it looks great at 50 feet away. Mechanically this jeep is very solid. The fuel injected motor fires up quickly and runs very smooth. Unlike a lot of jeeps, this one can easily run highway speeds, with no vibrations, rattles, or "death-wobble". The tranny is solid. It shifts strong, with no slippage between gears. The transfer case works as it should. It does have a manual locker for the front axle, via a cable located under the dash. It has a tuffy center console. It has an after-market double tubular rear bumper, and a "home-made" steel tube front bumper with a small bull-bar. It also has bushwacker fender flares, and nerf bars. It does not have a top, other than the bikini shown in the photos. The tires are fairly new and have about 90-95 percent tread. I bought this jeep for my wife, who will only drive an automatic. About 3 months later, she wanted a jku, so i bought that for her. I have a herd of jeeps, and need to make some room, so this one is on the chopping block.
